Ok I tried starting up the car....well it wouldnt. Then tried again and held the key down untill it finall started. But the wierd thing was that when I put the car into drive. On the display the red outline on 'P' was still lit and the green outline around 'D' was flashing. Also the car required a lot more gas to get it to move a little. Turned the car off, then on again....everything now back to normal. ??????

Flashing 'D' lamp is what the tranny controller uses for a warning light, just like the engine controller uses the 'check engine' light.

Search around for a procedure for your year to read ECU error codes. You either pull back the carpet & watch a blinking red light, or you find a plug & jumper it with a paperclip. The tranny controller has it's own set of codes just like the engine controller.
