VTEC wont kick in

VTEC wont kick in
I have a problem with my ITR 98`. The VTEC wont kick in. And when it kicks in, it happens around 7000rpm, and the VTEC lags. It keeps kicking in and out. Is the solenoid broken ?

It's amazing how often this is the case..
Otherwise, solenoid, VTEC oil pressure switch or clogged screen.

er'yup, you could very well be starving your motor of oil it needs. Oil to our motors is like blood to the human body. Without it...YOU FAWKED!
