I like the Password JDM bar! I sold my Spoon Upper strut bars front and Rear for sum saving on a Password JDM bar! :D

Hopefully soon I'll be sporting them!

The Mugen is exactly 31.89% stiffer due to the alloy composite in material used.

steel is steel, they both use about the same size wall thickness so they are both very similar.....if you were talking about a bar that needed to save your life.(like a cage) then you worry about the stiffness..infact you should be more worried about the welds on either rather than the stifness of the metal used.

I believe those bars are both made from aluminum? I would get which ever is cheaper.

Negative. The password is made out of cheap steel which is why they coat it and hide the material it's made of. The Mugen is also fairly heavy.

BTW, I was being sarcastic in the post above. I'm sure they'll both "perform" as well as the other being that they have no pivots and are solid bars. If you're into the bling, Mugen is the way to go. Password is more cost effective.

I'll probably have to edit this post tomorrow once my drunkass sobers up.

I don't think you can compare Password to Mugen, but that's just my opinion

I'll sell it when I get whatever new rear upper strut bar I decide to go for. I'm in Europe though, so shipping will be expensive. Send me an IM if you interested.

So no one can give a decent comparison between the two? Or know the technical specs on either?

It's a piece of metal. Hell, they're both solid pieces of metal. Most people can't tell the difference between using one or none, let alone discern the differences between two similar bars.

lol, I take it you've never tracked your car before?

You can tell a MAJOR difference when pushing maximum through corners. If you don't your not driving at the limit.

I've had an OEM, Mugen and a CF Cusco rear bar in my R. I kept the Cusco on the car just because I it's 1/3 the weight of the Mugen and can't tell the difference between the 2. I've felt and held the Password and it seems as solid as the Mugen. I HIGHLY doubt you'll experience and significant gains between one or the other.

ITRacer121/Anthony has the Password in his R right now and I've let him use the Mugen before. I'm pretty sure he didn't notice any difference between the 2, but I'll ask once he gets back from him cruise.

It's just a bar. You're making it into a larger deal than it really is. Bottom line comes to if you want the Mugen bling or the cost effective Password.

They all suck. Just weld in a bar across from each shock tower mount.
