Default code 16 and 43 how to fix ??

this is in my 91 civic converted to obd1. the search is down and i need my car running. plz tell me how to fix this or give me a link. a step by step procedure would be nice. thanks

p.s would the position of the o2 sensor have any effect on this?? because the o2 sensor is suppose to be at the end of the exhaust manifold but i could only get a obd0 exhaust manifold so its up near the head.

for a good step by step go buy the manual. a code 43 is a too rich or too lean problem, and tht could be from wrogb fuel pressure, bad o2 sensor of valves that need to be adjusted.
code 16 indicates that a fuel injector or more than one is not working. so chances are you have bad wiring, a bad injector or an injector that isnt plugged in.

after resetting the ecu i am now only getting the code 16. now like in my obd0 civic book it gives me a step by step procedure on how to find out whats wrong. anybody have anything like that for the obd1.

i measure the ohms between the injectors and i got 12ohm in every one, i am getting 12 volts to each injector, got my injecotors cleaned so now they all flow good. and changed the injectors around. hmm i guess that leaves wiring ??

if you are gettign 12 volts and 12 ohms io would check for constinuity back to the ecu from each injector.

i am getting continuity from each injector back to the ecu.

but what i did today was since #1 and 3 were working, i put the #3 wire on #4 and then started it and now 4 was working on 3 wasnt. so that must be the wire so im going to try and rewire it and see if it helps

thanks for your help

bump from the dead.

i got all injectors firing and it idles good, its just that now i got that code 16 and 43, but like i said all injectors are firing.

i can rev it up to about 2 till it just drops back down

also does the position of the o2 sensor matter cause its up near the head not at the end of the exhaust manifold like it should be
