Can someone help me with this minor body mod?
I have an 04 accord coupe. Can someone please tell me how to take off the bottom "grill covers" without having to take off the bumper. I don't want to just try to pry them out, and break something. Any pics that you could provide would be appreciated.
When I say grill covers, I'm talking about the black covers in the bottom part. You have two on the side where the OEM foglights would go, and one in the center. I am asking this, becuase I'm considering fabing up some silver inserts to put in there, and I need to know how the OEM comes out, and how the new ones should go in.
Thanks

Here's a link to the page you need from the "official" Honda Parts Catalog. I'd hoped that it would have been more helpful. Purhaps someone will chime in with some aditional info.

There are probably screws that hold those covers in...removing the bumper is EASY. There are like 4-5 bolts and she is off, heck on my civic there are only 3
.
Another idea would be to look in the main grill part (lower) and see if there is a connecting piece from cover to bumper.
