I didn't even thin they made them. But there's proof. I don't think they are in production anymore though.

 

Okay I just spoke with a shop that builds cages. He is willing to make some del sol cages similar to the cusco cage if I have enough interest. He can make the cage either bolt in like the cusco cage or weld in if you choose to weld it yourself. I have no idea about price, but just post in this thread if you are interested and I will see what I can do. Obviously shipping will be expensive.

 

im interested. lets get a few more details, like on approx. cost, design features, etc..see what he can do!

Back up top for an update. Sorry it has been so long. I took the cage to the chassis shop today and they said they can make copies of it. But the cage will not be a bolt in. The cage will need to be welded in for safety reasons. They will make the cage in both mild steel and moly. We will test fit the cage in my g/f del sol and I will take some pics and post them. The cage will bend around the dash just like the cusco. All the ends will be fish mouthed and come with 6x6 plates so you can easily weld it in. Let me know who is interested.

I have the cusco cage in my del sol but im having to remove it as my new Tenzo seats do not fit with it....does any one have the recaro integra seats in a del sol with this cage?
