Hey guys, I searched this and found a few threads but not exactly what i'm looking for.

First of all, I have a 2000 GSR with 74k right now.

It has been boosted for about 10k.

It kinda slipped my mind to do the 60k service simply because I am always working on the car and didn't really see a need for it since I always do most of the things on their list.

Here's a list of what seems to be the service they do:
Replace Oil Filter

Change Engine Oil

Check All Fluid Levels

Check Tire Pressure

Inspect Front and Rear Brakes

Adjust Parking Brake

Flush Brake System

Replace Brake Fluid

Change Transmission Fluid

Replace Spark Plugs

Replace Distributor Cap and Rotor
Inspect Exhaust System

Inspect Suspension & Steering

Inspect Drive Axles and Boots

Add Fuel Injector Cleaner

Replace Fuel Filter

Replace Air Filter

Adjust Valves

Replace Valve Cover Gasket

Inspect Drive Belts

Road Test Vehicle


2 weeks ago, I replaced the timing belt, water pump, and tensioner. Yah I know it's early to change them, but for some reason my timing belt was beaten to death. I'll upload pics soon.

So I was wondering if you guys think I should still do it, even though I have 74k now. Also, anything that is missing from that list. This is the 60, 90, 120k, etc service.

You should definitely do all that stuff, especially since you're boosted. It'll prevent possibly a lot of headaches in the future, so its a good idea.

Here's the thing though, I have everything on that list done except for

Replace Distributor Cap and Rotor

Inspect Suspension & Steering

Inspect Drive Axles and Boots

Now i'm an idiot when it comes to suspension, should I actually go give it to them to inspect teh suspension, axels, and boots? Or should those be ok?

Adjust Valves

Also, I heard it was kinda of an easy job to adjust the valves but just tidious and time consuming. Should I just take it to honda/acura to do that for me?

Lastly,
I inspected my a/c, alternator, and power steering belts and they were all fine when I changed the timing belt.
Is there any other belts that I need to check?

When they inspect suspension, they just make sure your bushings arent shredded or shitty. No excessive noise or anythign from it... for the steering, just take it to a tire shop and have them do an alignment.

 

if u drove a ford, u would of needed a new car by now.

the valves aren't that time consuming to adjust

if it's your first time it may take a couple hours....but everytime after that is half the time.

 

Anyone have a write up on how to adjust the valves?

 

This is for a GSR, but the specs for your valve lash are under your hood (assuming you have a stock hood) and the rest is the same.

This is tough since you did most of the tune-up already. I got my 60k tune-up at the Honda dealer and it cost waaaay cheaper then Acura. Acura charge nearly $600 and the honda people did everything for me with inspection for $250.
