Default radiator

this might be a stupid question but,oh well. do you use the same coolant in a bike as you would a car?

what coolant do you guys use?

No car coolant will destroy a motorcycle radiator!!!!!

Yeah it'll work the same. I just use distilled water and some water wetter in my bikes since I take it to the track. Change it about twice a year. If you live in really cold climate areas then obviously you still need anti-freeze/coolant.

I use Honda Type-II coolant, the stuff you would buy for your car. Its pre-mixed and silicate free. drain, flush, and fill; no mixing.

Yeah i wouldn't use that orange dex cool antifreeze though. I used regular prestone antifreeze with a 50/50 mix the last time I filled up my f3 radiator.

cool,i was going to use that stuff(prestone) because i have a brand new gallon of it in my garage
