should i be able to see my flywheel?
ok so im new to just about every aspect of the game so im not exactly how stupid i sound or how much trouble i could be in...
anyhow, i noticed that when i jack up my car that the flywheel is clearly visible from under the car. it hangs a good 2 inches lower than the oil pan hangs from the block. to clarify, the trans hangs a bit lower the block, its not a flush mount and the flywheel is clearly visible.
i have a b16 swap with a y1 tranny in my crx if that makes any diffrence... i bought the car like thatand didnt notice until today.
i dont drive the car much and realize that this could be potentially fatal for my engine but i was just curious as to what some more expirianced people might have to say
thanks

There is supposed to be a sheet metal plate that bolts over the gap there. As far as covering it, I personally would. It's one of those "you never know" things.
