Alright guys, I live in middletown, NY and my tranny for my 93 teg was stolen recently. I know I'll probably never see it again but if any of you guys are from around my area just keep your ears open. I already filed a police report but I really don't think I'll ever find it. I even have the barcode number that was on the sticker but chances are that's scratched off my now. I had it sitting in the back of my garage right next to mad ****... and the only thing they took was my greasy *** tranny. I went in my garage today to clean it up so I can get my motor back in my car (I just got the complete motor back from the machine shop, sleeved, JE Pistons, Eagle Rods, complete Skunk2 head internals) I start looking around and I couldn't believe the **** was gone... ugh I'm so pissed

Middletown, eh? Well, I'll keep an ear open in Rockland, and around New Paltz, but I doubt I'll hear anything. Sorry to hear it though.

Be careful now that u've said everything that is in ur garage, they might be on honda-tech and come looking for more...

It soo sad when people have to steal parts instead of earning their own...
I hope they find it...or the theives.

Yea, I moved everything, locked up everything and installed 3 motion detector flood lights around my whole driveway and garage. I deleted everything in my garage anyway. And lastnight a truck pulled up in front of my house to take a look at my bike I'm selling (97 Ninja) and 3 guys came out of the truck, (mind you the truck bed was facing my bike) and when the got close to the bike my huge *** airport lights i installed on my house scared the **** out of them and they split... so something fishy is going on.
But yea, thanks guys for keeping an eye out. Even though it's probably never gonna come up it's still nice to know that not everyone's a scum bag piece of sh*t theif

 

Another thing I wanted to ask was the numbers on the block and the numbers on the tranny... My friend said that if it was the original tranny and motor that the numbers on both the block and the tranny would match... Does anyone know anything about this?

what tranny was it anywayz im guessing its an LS right if they stole a gsr, itr i would be steaming mad still sucks tho

now that definetly suck here in my area of boston you can count the legit GSR's in your hand and the people with GSR engines and tranny arent that many either
