Well, i got the idea from a member on CBRworld.net forums. He used a trunk actuator from a ford escort. I had him send me an identical one, and i wired it up to a switch that gets power from the tail lights so it's only on when the key is on. There's a spring (temporarly mounted now, i'm going to solder it soon) that pops the seat. So all i have to do is turn the key, hit the switch, and POP goes the passenger seat. actually, i didn't get a relay. It still sounds like a good idea, but i don't really understand how to wire it up. All i did was change how i mounted the cable end to the actuator so that the actuator isn't fully extended when you start.
