Default Some A/C advice please

So I just bought a 91 crx dx and the guy said that the reason the a/c is dead is because of a leak in the low side pressure line to the compressor. I don't have much experience with a/c so I was wondering if I could just go to the junkyard and pick this hose up or what? Also, can I just recharge it then or do I have to evacuate the system since it has been exposed to the atmosphere? Thanks for the help

you should be able to find one at the junkyard.
After you replace the hose, install a new reciever/drier, evacuate the system and recharge.

Is there some specialty tool you need to evacuate? If so neither I nor my dad has it, so would that make it cheaper to take it to a shop or what? Thanks for the help.

How much will a new collector/drier cost? And what do you think the shop charges will be? Hmmm
