Newbie seeking advice
well hi everyone im new both to the site and to the honda world....just bought a 05 civic lx...looking for any suggestions on mods....don't want to be fast, just different...going for a jdm look. anything will help thanks!
the "jdm look" is hard to pinpoint. if by jdm look you mean making an exact replica of the stock jdm vehicles, that's not too hard to do.
but if by jdm look you mean modifying your vehicle with any japanese domestic parts, then there is a plethora of parts in the market.
for the first definition, you can purchase parts off the exact jdm vehicle that fits your car and slap them on there. jdm style. i like this route because it ends up keeping the car clean if executed carefully and correctly in my own opinion.
for the latter definition, you can purchase any parts made in japan and put them on your car. this is the route to go if you really want to be "different" usually no two cars end up looking the same. when you go this route, you throw in your own taste onto your car, and people either love it or hate it.
my two cents says drop it first, get some rims, then get a lip/skirts.
that's if you don't care about performance.
if you do care about performance, i'd say drop the car, get some rims with sticky tires, then get a sway bar.
welcome to the honda community!
