buy newer JDM b18b or rebuild stock b18a1 ?? need advice!!!
ok well I have a 92 integra and it has 160,xxx miles on it right now. It runs real strong for how old it is and how many miles, I have the usual i/h/e and I have my exedy organic clutch and ACT flywheel sitting right next to me waiting for an off day to install them! And well I want to get some 403's for more power, but my question now is, Should I buy a jdm b18b and swap it in my car for a fresh motor OR should I rebuild my bottom end with P30 pistons, eagle rods, ARP rod bolts and piston rings?
And my BIGGER QUESTION is, if I do just put new p30 pistons, eagle rods, ARP bolts and piston rings, will my motor be and run like new?
I do have a budget so thats why im limited to what I can do(if I had no budget I would swap in a b18c5), So please give me useful advice to what I should do! This is my only car so its a daily driver and I want more power without turbo so thats why im getting the 403's. THANKS!
