Default brake booster?

So, a while back when my distributor went bad, leaving me stranded in BFE...the next day, my bicycle broke also.
So earlier today I go to pick up my bicycle from the shop, and for about a week or so my idle had been getting higher up, even with the TB screw all the way in. Soon enough my brakes are about a gazillion pounds of force needed to apply to make the car come to a hault.

Brake booster.

How easy is it? Piece of cake prolly, I'm just busy busy. I guess I can drive round without it for a tiny bit.

The MC was replaced within a two yr period, so I'm pretty sure it's fine. I'm gong to check the obvious vacum lines for leaks, but I didn't see any so far.

Not that hard to replace, gotta get under the dash, undo 4 bolts and a clevis pin. And pull it out.

Was your MC leaking before, because a leaky MC will cause a brake booster to go bad

my MC was leakin down where they mate up together

I'll probably just get a bigger MC and booster now that they're both bad enough to replace.

I had replaced the MC before, but I might as well do both. Now to read on what car's to get the bigger MC and booster from.

A small leak is normal, if it was dripping onto the ground and forming a puddle then I would worry.

i picked up a 91ex booster. the MC is about a yr old, so I held onto it for now. I'm on campus and don't feel like bleeding brakes.

so hopefully it'll all go in smoothly. i meant to do it this morning but ehh, halo2 occupied me late into the night last night
