calculating hp from mass and 1/4 mile times and trap speeds.
I'm wondering if any of you guys would be able to give me an estimate based on my time. The reason i'm asking is that i'm interested in how my power output compares to integras in the states...
Before any of you decide to have a go at me -our dynos are all load based and give wildly different readings to your dynos.
I ran the car (dc2 gs-r) minus the spare wheel and rear seats.
Times are as follows:
60' : 2.159
1/8 : 9.289 @ 75.82
1/4 : 14.393 @ 96.24
It was a hot day, the track temp was 47 degrees c, i think thats around 110 in your measurement, ambient temp was 30 degrees c.

wow, great time for those mods.
I am totally guessing but im gonna say ~175@wheels since you got a great 60ft. If you pulled that time with a cruddy launch I would say 180-185, but you dont have the mods for that kinda power.

thanks, i'm going back to try again now i have some traction bars installed... since it's winter now, it's heaps cooler too. I'm hoping to knock another 1/10th or so off that time.
it'd be nice if i could find someone with drag radials or slicks that i could borrow...
