Swift Springs on Koni Yellows?
Does anyone know the diameter of stock springs, and the stock heigh of the spring on say something like a EK Civic? I was wondering if you could just buy Swift springs in correct diameter (and corresponding height) and put them directly on the konis (say, not using sleeves).
Anyone know if you can do this? I'm looking to get 400/450 lb springs, but i dont care about corner weighting, nor am i interested in slamming my car. To be honest, i think my car looks fine (00 ek cx hatch on 205/50/15).

sorry to bring back an old thread, but how come? Is the spring diameter not the correct size for the Koni perches?

I am not familiar with the references Swift springs (heard of them on H-T but that is all) but the feeling that I get is that the springs are flat ground on the bottom like a racing spring and do not have the normal pigtail or stock shaped tail at the end. The stock spring needs to have the right tail shape to sit correctly in the perch otherwise a several things can cause problems. Your spring tail must fit your perch system properly. Flat ground on flat perch, stock tail shape to stock perch shape. Don't mix them.
