S*@TY LOWERING KIT
I bought the Eibach Pro-Kit and had Acura Install them because I dont have any local shops around me to install the springs. SO when I got the car back the front was higher than the back why?
Can someone tell me why the front looks higher than the back?

yu need to switch them around if they are on backwards. jack up your car and look for the part numbers on the springs. it should have a 4xxxxnumber with a f or r after it. f=front, r=rear. or it might even just hvae numberswhich you will hvae to cross reference to the eibach intructions.

The front was higher than the back?
The front springs are longer than the rears, and the fender gap is larger on front vs. the back. This is normal. If they were installed backwards, the front would be lower.
Many cars look higher up front because of the difference in fenderwell sizes. If it's really different something's wrong. Being <1" different is normal.

i dont think it's physically possible to put the front springs on the rear.......there shapped diffrently and diffrent lengths......you couldent compress the front springs ontot he rear shocks without binding the coils.
when you say the front is higher than the back by how much?
and just to let everyone know the front wheel well fender is larger/taller than the rear so it may seem like the front is higher but it's really the way the wheel wells are shapped.

i just installed my eibach prokit on friday and the front fender gap is larger than the rear. I thought I put them on backwards too, but now that i look at it, the thicker coils are in the front and I'm sure i didn't screw up. The car looks even in height all the way around. Wait for the springs to settle. should take 1 week. I've installed several sets of springs on my 2 cars and other people's cars and it's pretty hard to put the front on the back and the vice versa.
To be certain check the numbers on the springs. Make sure F is in the front and R is in the rear. Also write down the part number and check it out online. When I got my sportlines, the shop ordered a set for a g2 teg. They installed on the car, but the rear was higher than stock I think(I was changing from another lowering spring), and would not compress. I did not know that the shop ordered the wrong set until I contacted Eibach, and they told me to check for the F and R. When I checked the part number, that was when I found the problem. The shop fixed the mistake.
if the springs are in backwards, wouldn't the back be a lot higher than the front? the front is supposed to be thicker coils and thus the decreased in weight in the back would make the back a lot higher and the front a lot lower. I don't have any "F" or "R" on my springs. The part number is like 4020.something. let me know because i have the same problem of the front having more gap than the rear.
that was the first kit i bought and after talking to several shops one told me to remove the bump stops another said to buy the legacy springs to lower the front more and another said to cut them. I went my own way and paid $250 for some weapon r coilovers to set my own suspension.
The part number for pro-kit on a g3 is 4020.140
Take a pic. My sportlines seem slightly higher in the front than in the back. You have to consider that the wheel wells are not cut the same in the front and back, so a visual does not do much.

My car was higher in back than in front on stock suspension. After installing H&R Sports the back end still sat just a bit higher, so I pulled my rear shocks and brought the Koni spring perches down to the lower level (15mm lower) and now it's all even.
