Default Head Package

I just discovered the AccordPerformance.com head package. Anyone have any info on this product? Also, what if I added a turbo to this package? hmm....

P.S. don't hate

accordperformance.com is gude....they just renamed the website. I have their package on 6th gen accord....love it

Putting turbo is a good idea...thats when the benefits of good PnP are most evident...good luck

Unless Gude has changed his/their way of doing head packages, do not do it. They do not make the power they claim.

they might not make the numbers they claim but as_fast_as_u can vouch that they make very nice gains. if you want to go the NA route go for it, but it you plan on going to turbo route save you money for the turbo kit.

Say money was not an option, what if I were strap a turbo to the package would it be worth it? Or should I spend the cash building the turbo?

I was thinking of doing this before my H22 swap and asked them how much boost I would be able to run if I went with their head package and they said not to go over 7 pounds so if you want big hp gains I would look for someone locally to take your head to and get it built for boost or boost your stock motor and save to build the motor to accept a greater amount later. I only did the H22 swap because I had over $400 or more worth of motor work just in parts to get my Accord motor back to working condition and decided to just put it into a running H22. But if I had a good Accord motor I would go with boost first then build it to get more hp. Just my opinion though.

here is my perspective....was it worth spending 1750 on head package+300-400 on instal and 200 tune? YES AND NO!!!! turbo will always be a better buy....but I can still add turbo to the set up and probably gain a little more per lb/boost once turboed because of PnP package....As far as dollar/hp value turbo by itself will always win.... but once you do have a turbo installed people expect you to be fast, and if you barely brake in 14 with turbo they think your car sucks, but if everyone EXPECTS you to be slow and you beat up on some people with N/A set up...its just more rewarding...this head package comes with all the stock components and cam idles/and sounds very stock, so you can pass your car as all stock, just some boltons...I just love the element of surprise...WHAT?! NO TURBO OR NOS?!! HOW DID YOU DO THAT WITH A BASICALLY STOCK SLOW ACCORD?!!!............exactly

ohh, and to answer a q about not being able to boost over 7 lbs is BS...and i tell you why....when ordering your package you need to specify if you're going to turbo later, that way the cam profile they send you is a bit more "happier" in higher rpm ranges, instead of N/A setup, where your car behaves better at low/mid rpm range. And since they also mill your head a little to raise compression, i would go with thicker head gasket to lower the compression again to stock level

I was also thinking about this package. It's just another name for Gude. When I was researching I heard nothing but bad things about them. I've never had any actual experience, though.
