my cuz is 24 and is a college student. he drives a 99hatch, he wants to run `13.5 and lower.

seriously... anyway you put it... it's still going to be built.
for instance, people have used ls crank in a b18c1 block. are we going to be calling it a gsr anymore... who knows.
**bassically, im chimingin and telling you guys to do a build up this way.
any b series block(except for a b16) is ok for the bottom. sleeve and bore out to about 84mm is fine(2.0L more or less). some after market rods and piston to your spec.(for drag i would probably end up in the 13's comp. although for street i'll go about 11.5 comp.) as for the head goes--> b16 or b18c5 head witha p n p job. some nice valve train and good cams.
that's just me.
**remember... anyway you put it. it's going to be built. the number on the case will not matter anymore. unless you are still using stock parts in it.
