1990 Civic 4 door v.s. 92 hatch CX
I was curious if anyone knew which car was lighter in weight assuming both had full interior and basically stock rims (14 inch steelies). I tried searching for the answer but couldn't really find anything. I really wanted to cause me and a friend both had LS motors in our cars (Me having the hatch and him having the 4 door) and my car was faster and his excuse was that my car was so much lighter. But I honestly don't think the weight difference could be that much. Thanks for any helpful info in advance.
Your hatchback is definately lighter, because I have a 1992 CX and a 1990 STD hatch and the 1990 weighs more than the 1992 CX stock vs. stock.
Add to the fact that the 4-door had the way heavier automatic seatbelt motors, the extra interior, etc. he's right - the weight is killing him.

Yeah I researched alittle and found out the 4 door weighs like 2262 lbs. and if my car weighs 2108 the weight difference would be 154 lbs. and call me crazy but don't wouldn't really be killing him. I have like 45 lbs (me being like 225 and him being 180). on my boy driver for driver so the actual weight difference is 109 lbs. and that isn't even a tenth of a second.
Okay so now we're going borderline e-racing.
Let's just go ahead and squash the debate and say your car is faster, end of story, next topic please.
