Where do you guys weigh your car?? Mine was 2650 lbs???

OK, i took my eg cx hatch to a metal recycling center and weighed it and it weighed 2650 lbs with me and a 1/4 gas tank. Is there a different scale for weighing cars because 2650 is pretty heavy?

Damn, you must weigh like 500 lbs.

j/k sometimes those scales can be off, for instance, it could be only accurate at heavy weights and relatively inaccurate at lower weights, like that of your car. The scale may also be miscalibrated.

i only weigh about 120 lbs. that's why i was sonfused when they handed me a receipt that showed the 2650..

Go to a truck stop or a DOT approved weigh station. those things are on the money. I had a few weights in the back of my car and i removed them one at a time and each time i looked at the digital scale it was dropping 20 lbs for each of the weights which were 20 lbs.

i weighted my bros 4dr at a local storage house..they had a scale there to weight the semi trucks..weight out at 2485 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas and 4 tires in the trunk with a 3 ton jack..

I weighed mine at several truck stops.

Some of 'em aren't very accurate for some reason. Just hit up a few and get a general weight idea..

LOL! thats kinda heavy for a eg cx.....

I weighed my(96 civichatch w/b20) over at Giant and it tipped the scales at 2411.
Full interior and a whole bunch of junk in the trunk(tools, sub box, and cleaning prods)

2600? my dx coupe only weighs 2430 with me and 1/2 tank of gas...prolly just a bad scale...id try somewhere else and see what it says

my del sol with a b-series swap only weighs in at 2395 lbs. go to a truck weigh station that u see on the sides of major highways.
