JDM Speedometer
I have a stock SI guage cluster in my 92 hatch, and I found a really nice JDM part i would like to get, but i want to know that it will be able to plug in before I buy it. The part is a JDM Speedometer that replaces the USDM one in the stock guage cluster. It is brand new in the package with 0 miles on it. Does anyone know if I can plug this straight in, or do I have to re-do the wiring for it?? I have searched for this, and all I can find is the entire guage cluster wiring, not the speedometer. Thanks everyone
Great, that's what i was thinking too. It is a $350 part, so I wanted to make sure it will work. I could get the whole JDM cluster for $250, but this is more original...Thanks for your reply...
100 dollar difference? why dont you just buy the jdm cluster and take out the speedo, swap that in your current cluster. same thing, right? i dont have firsthand experience, but you might even be able to swap the odometer too.
but yeah, the speedo will probably plug right in, as long as its the same generation car- eg to eg, ek to ek.
