Default oil in my spark plugs...

Anyone have an idea why there is oil in the third spark plug houseing? We thought it could be the piston valves or head gasket.. anything I herad about with the head gasket suggested that it would have coolent not oil though....any thoughts...we are going to tear it down and rplace all the valves and all the gaskets anyway and the plugs...pretty much give it a tune up ....thanks in advance.

Well it could be the head gasket or it could be your spark plug gasket. I would say Head gasket first. Do a compress test that should tell you.

just replace ur spark plug gromets...they tend to harden and compress down after a while..theyre cheap like 2-3 bucks from honda...shouldnt take u longer than 5 minutes...no need to change ur valve cover gasket as long as its not leaking oil from it...i reuse mine all the time...just clean all the oil off before u put it back on so that it seals properly
