obviously if there is no need for it there will be no list. I am simply taking request showing him if there is a demand then we can start getting parts shipped over here to your doorsteps.

Hey all I am doing is trying to make a list. I am not selling anything just wanting to know if you guys know what parts in EUROPE are in demand here. What would you want if you were to get a s2000 car part from Europe?
Stuff like that. My buddy (Scott) is going too look into the junkyards while I compile a list. This is not a for sure thing I am simply trying to make a list.

lets see, put me down for a russian front left lower control arm, a russian guage cluster, russian f20c full swap, a russian radiator cap, 2 russian trunk lids, passenger side russian window, and one of those hats that the spetsnaz wear in goldeneye
1. EDM rear bumper brake light.
2. Daytime Runnng Light harnesses/plugs/wiring
3. EDM pre-04 OEM wheels (the spokes are elongated moreso on the EDM wheels than the USDM 16" wheels)
4. EDM shift ***** (both titanium and full aluminum). They are more polished looking for EDM, than the brushed look for USDM
5. EDM headlight washers.
6. EDM gauge cluster (has two extra accessory/warning lights...and is in km
)
7. EDM/JDM pre-04 ECU (there's no immobilizer feature on those ECU's....I'm not a 100% for the EDM. However, they are mapped for running leaner in the midrange as compared to the '01 and '00 ECU's here)
8. '02 and '03 plastic trim around the cluster bezel, vents, and door trim. They were a bit more polished looking than our dark metal and black plastic pieces.
9. Possibly EDM bumper covers. They are different than USDM for the size of plates they'll accept. The rear cover is elongated for European style plates.
I don't really care for these things, but this is a quick list of the things I can think of that some people may be interested in having here.

Ok...lets fix something you said then...

...should actually read...
"I have a buddy that saw there was a junk yard in russia, and there are probobly other ones, and while he doesnt have a clue if there are any S2000's in there, much less ANY hondas, he can go to a junkyard, pull parts and ship them back to the united states. Would you guys like him to go pull any parts for you, granted there are S2000's in the junk yard in the first place?"
...and let me save you some time and effort man. Ive got a 99.999999% certain idea that there isnt ONE s2000 in the junk yards he's going to look in, and if there is, its probobly stripped to the bone already.
That and we can get euro spec and JDM parts here in the states, from companies that have sources of said parts, and we also dont have to worry about the international shipping and customs charges, and while your idea was a nice idea, i think its sorta wasted effort on you and your friends part...since i know for a fact even if he finds something, you wont be able to beat prices that are already available, not to mention shipping charges.

hey I am not trying to sell anything. All I want know is what people that drive s2000 look for when they look for EDM s2000 parts.
I am not saying my buddy WILL get this and that. If he is at a junkyard and sees something it would be nice to know about it.

lol...then quite simply tell him "If you see an S2000 at the junk yard, grab anything that you see on it that is still worth taking and buy it" because you'll sell it, regardless of what it is...
i was just being a smartass earlier, but that guage cluster actually does sound cool.
the only way i can see this being good for you is if the russian dollar is way weaker to the american dollar.
i think if anything most people would want japanese parts, but im sure they would do euro if it was cheap.
japan is on water. russia is landlocked, that probably makes shipping more expensive.
you may find one or two people who want an edm part specifically, but probably not many people will be interested.
jdm is a trend. that kind of hype is hard to make happen, it just evolves.
my advice would be to find an s at a russian junkyard first, then take pics and post them up. show us why we want those parts.
either way, thanks for trying to help. you get an "A" for effort

[Kramer to Newman] There's too much overhead. You'll never make it work. [/Kramer]
Shipping/Handling will kill your profit margin. So unless you've got a fleet of mail trucks lined up for Mother's Day, it wouldn't be worth it.
If you just want stuff for yourself, then that's another story...

Did the Euro S' come with fog lights? On the ITR's, I believe they were required to have a rear fog light and also had front's, too--which I wish the US had added to their options list...

some of you guys need to chill. the guy was just asking a question. Whats up with this forum, back in the day I used to drool at some of your cars and there was some real good posts here.....now times have changed I guess
And we were just answering his question with something that puts a little legitimacy and "realism" to his idea. The fact is...his friend is going to NEVER find an S2000 at the junkyard, and if he does, it'll be stripped to the bone. If he did by chance find some parts, they'd probobly have to keep it competitive with the euro parts that people sell here in the states...but he'd be charging shipping from russia to us...or have to make up for his cost to have them shipped to him and then to us.
Overall...good idea, bad follow through or plan.
