Hey guys,
I have a 95 B18C and I want to replace the dizzy with a brand new one. I see that Full Race had them listed for about $270 but they say OBD 1 92-95 DOHC VTEC motors. What do you guys think?
thanks

Hey again guys,
I was also thinking about just swapping out the cap and rotor instead of buying a new dizzy. Should I also change out the ignition coil assembly? The last part I'm looking at is the igniter unit assembly, but it's around $180 for just that. If my igniter assembly was bad would that cause my car not to run at all due to no spark?
Also my current dizzy is from a 95 GSR. Can I get a cap, rotor and ignition coil assy out of a Del Sol VTEC? the Honda dealership is closer then the Acura dealer, so I'd rather go to them first.

If you've got one that you know is working, it can't hurt.

Yep! Swapping for a known good ignitor is the best way to test it.

I'm going to go with maybe. While the entire distributors themselves are interchangable, there are sometimes differences that keep you from using different caps or rotors on them. I've seen some different coils as well. Ignitors are usually all the same. Compare the parts before you commit to anything.

Yep, all the OBD1 B series distributors are interchangable.
