(DE) black 1983 nighthawk 550 - only 6000 miles. Asking $1200 but willing to negotiate
I baught this bike early summer as my first bike. It had about 5200 miles on it at the time and was not currently running. All it needed though was fluids changed and new battery. And well some gas
Anyways I'm looking to upgrade and need to sell this before I can do that.
The bike runs PERFECT and looks pretty damn good for being a 22 year old bike. The carbs were rebuilt about a year ago and are perfectly tuned right now. I put in a new battery, new tires, and changed all the fluids. I recommend changing the front brake pads though but that's extremely easy to do and pads are like $20. Only bad thing about the whole bike is the gas tank was from a junkyard because the original one sat for 20 years with gas in it. This means the current tank is scratched up, and has a couple dings in it. The tank could be fixed extremely easy if you were into body work and could pop the dings. Paint - hell it's already black, just spray it black and clear it and it'd look brand new. This is a perfect bike for commuting and saving gas on. Runs perfectly and revs all the way to redline. Matter of fact it's barely even broken in.

For more information pm me, e-mail me at enginenooo9@hotmail.com, or call me at 302-388-8689. I won't be home to do the sale as I will be at home. However my parents are cool and will help you out with looking at it.
