Default rear o2 sensor

alright, so i got this brilliant idea. You see, I wanna test pipe, but I dont wanna pay 3,000 dollars if i get caught with it. So i bought a stock cat convertor for 30 bucks and im gonna punch out all the honeycombs inside. Now I've got a free flowing cat that will inspect visual if i get pulled over. Then every two years for smog i can swap my normal one back in.

Now here's my question: with the exhaust going straight through, is it gonna trip anything on my rear o2 sensor? if so, what will it do, i can't remember which o2 sensor is the one that controls the fuel. Thanks for your help.

upstream controls fuel, downstream will have a slight roll in it, but is mainly used for cat efficieny? your car will probably run a little bit poor, but not bad

You could also try wrapping your 2ndary o2 in aluminum foil, and leave it hanging outside the bung. Ive never tried it, but Ive heard it works.
