Default burning oil, good compression

i have a stock dx that blows alot of smoke when it starts up and pretty much whenever, its definently oil. we did a compression check and that came back with every cylinder around 160, just wondering what types of problems there might be

Been there.. Valve GUIDES ..seals by them selves is just wasted effort. AND in old tired Honda Engines when the Head comes off New Rings are mandatory.. Or you WILL be opening it up to do it real soon after.
But hey! you can learn all this for yourself :-)

How much oil are you burning? If you're burning a lot, switch to M1 0w-40 and see if it slows down.

Valve seals and guides.

If you want to replace both of those, it will demand the head taken off. And it will cost a little more.

Remember to buy hondas oem seals, those brown ones. They are much harder and usually lasts a longer time than other compaines seals.
