Default toda spec b cam install

hi guys, just about to install cams and valve springs and have done a search on the forum. Cannot find any detailed info on the install procedure or torque specs for re -tightening everything... (my bad cannot get my hands on helms) any help from anyone or any links to threads detailing the install would be great. If your in Australia then i can help out with a carton of beer for the help if your near by!!!!!

Cheers

.....try the how-to on http://www.c-speedracing.com.

and use the helms for torque specs. make sure you use a coathanger or screwdriver to get the timing belt tensioner nice and tight.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it's 20ft-lbs on the 12mm bolts and 7.5ft-lbs on the 10mm bolts. Remember to tighten them in a sequence.

.....buy the helms manual or download it.

Don't cheap out on something that can be had for $60 when your $1500 head is at stake.....

Even an inexpensive Haynes or Chilton manual available at the local auto parts store would be very helpful.

The two manuals I mentioned (Haynes and Chilton) are not ITR-specific, but instead cover basically all '94-'01 Integras. The Helm is obviously more comprehensive, but the Haynes and Chilton manuals are still extremely helpful, inexpensive, and can be found at almost any large auto parts store here in the U.S. (not sure about down under though).

As a special service to ITR members ONLY! Email me and I can send certain pages of the Helms manual in .pdf. I have access to the Helm's manual for all of Acura's vehicle. But please do not flood me with request, Just limit them to emergency situations. Deal?

.....sorry, that was me.

And if it's any consolation - it's because I know you're a reliable source with helms handy + I'm never at home to reference mine in an emergency.

I left a .pdf copy of the helms with Padawan, so if the aussie guy needs it all he needs to do is send a pm for a copy.....
