what wheels do you all think look best on a crx

 

i love most honda alloy wheels

esp. the ones that came on the '90 and '91 CRXSI

14"--15" rims and the cost of tires won't kill your wallet either.

 

i like factory honda wheels.......this is a couple of pics of my brothers (type r) and mine (ls mesh). sorry for the poor quality. not the best camera.

 

No matter what they can't be any bigger then 16's they have to be small to look good on a crx

gold or silver, these rims look soo damn good on a crx imo. theres a pic floating around on HT of a blk crx/jdm front end and enkei rpf rims. so goddamn clean.

In my humble observations, the correct offset is more impressive than the biggest size...meaning even a 13" wheel can look aggressive if it isnt lost inside the wheel well.

 

Wow, I really like those last ones. I think they might even look pretty nice on my hatch

 

i have the rims off a 1999/2000 civic si. imho, those are the prettiest on a rex. unfortunately i'm selling mine for other reasons, but those last ones do look pretty good.

The fact they are 7" wide and 9.5lbs each doesnt hurt either.

BTW, those RPF1s are only a $200 wheel. I like OZ superleggaras too. The new Kosei K1s are a close match for the RPF1s and cost less, but weigh a little bit more.

I daily drive on HX wheels...my favorite Honda wheel.

Best simple wheels for a CRX IMO are Acura LS Mesh.

 

My vote would have to go to the 14" del sol fat five look alikes that I'm gonna be selling.

I should have pics of my '91 CRX racecar in the garage this weekend or
next. I believe they are also from a '99-'00 Civic Si, 15". They look
real nice on a CRX but not cheap to replace from Honda, and not the l
ightest either. They look like the previous post pics but 6 spoke, I think.

um... I really don't care for the fat fives, they are too EG-ish (why would you want inferior wheels from the ride that killed the CRX on your ride???)

Give me good old fashioned gunmetal ROTA "Slipstream" (the Spoon knockoffs are much cleaner looking with flat colors), or even the ROTA "Group-N" all black with red lip (that would look sweet regardless hatch/rex, hell any generation Civic looks killer with those). You can't argue with classics and classic-styled copies.

Keep in mind, I am not knocking your choices, just offering opinion based on complimenting the sexy lines of the EF-based CRX .

 

Go with what you got... Slipstreams all the way.

My favorite wheels are the Mugen RNR's, but i couldn't afford them so I bought the Rota Group N's(same thing but a lot cheaper). I like the balck with red lip because for some reason those look good on just about any car. http://www.jlbmotorsports.com/ has great deals on them.
