K20 = Lots of work, tons of HP

B18C5 = Mild work, good amount of HP

A buddy of mine just put a k20 in his hatch. He hasnt taken it to the track but he raced my other friend that has a lsvtec turbo and only lost by like a car length. The lsvtec turbo runs low 12s consistently so Im sure the k20 is doing at least a 12.5. Ive heard that before about the k20 but this is my first "seen it myself" experience with that swap. He says he loves it bc of the reliability and driveability. Im actually thinking about building one for my D.D.

B series engines are great, BUT K series is the future. I saw a k20a DC2 integra race an Evo on low boost. The integra killed it. After the shock the Evo wanted another run, but he switched to high boost. He still lost but it was very close almost half a car length. The Evo couldn't believe the integra was all motor

Go k series, its not easy or cheap but its worth it.

Yes its really that great.

But: B18C5 swap in EG = maybe $5000 at the most, and a monkey could do it.

K20A (R) swap in EG = way more than you probably want to spend, and by reading your post I'm guessing you prob wouldn't know where to start to do the swap yourself.

you're going to be well over the $5000 dollar mark if you want this done, unless you can do the work yourself....but an amazing swap!!!

as for the B18C5, my friend has one. They're good motors yeah, but for the price you could build up a B18C1 and make it faster....and this has been covered a million times lol!

I just rode in that eg I was tellin you about (w/the k20) The only thing he's got done to the motor isintake, header exhaust & chip. Im runnin a lsvtec on 14lbs (300whp) and I think he might beat me. That thing runs awesome!! I think I wanna do one now. I wonder what that would be like w/a supercharger on it???? Has anyone heard anything about a jrsc for a k20? What kind of #s??

JAPANDA, dont mean to steal your post.
