Swapping from b16a to d16z6
Ok well I am going to be swapping from a b16a in my EH hatch... to a d16z6 that is coming from a del Sol. Me and the guy are doing a direct swap at a garage. Now... what will I need to successfully do this swap besides what he already has? I mean... he has mounts, axles, ECU, etc... will everything drop right in and fit? Thanks!
THE Z6 TO THE HATCH SHOULD BE SIMPLE JUST SWAP THE ENGINE HARNESS AND ECU OUT OF THE DEL SOL. HELL REALLY THEY SHOULD BOTH GO PRETTY SMOOTH JUST SWAP HIS ENGINE HARNESS AND ECU TO UR CAR AND UR ECU HARNESS AND ENGINE INTO HIS CAR

Why do I need to swap the harness if they are both OBD-1???

yeah everything should just swap right over with out having to change the harness, the only thing is (which im not completly sure about) the b16 harness may have a plug for a knock sensor but if you dont change the harness just leave it unplugged on the new motor, with the del sol computer it wont throw a code

Question: I have an Evasive Dual Bend Short Shifter right now that I really really like. Will I be able to use this with the d-series or do I need to get a new one?

Ok thanks man.
The rear tranny bracket... do I need the whole mount or just the bracket? It's just the metal piece right?
