I have never heard of one before yesterday. Is it a replacement for the oem Denso or Mitsuba? I ask because I have a mitsuba currently and the lines are different between the mitsu. and denso. thanks

 

the cars orinialy came with sanden but there was a recall on them so most of us have the denso or mitsuba.

Okay, I've heard the Matsushita suck.
What makes one better then the other?
At 15+ years old, any A/C compressor is going to be nearly gone.

I've read the Sanden compressors convert to 134a better then the Matsushita. Apparently the seals on the Matsu are more porous or absorbant. They hold a little r12 and when exposed to the new 134a, the reaction is violent...killing the seal, causing a leak. Or so I've read...

I've had one on R134 for about a year now. I think it's finally taking it's toll.
