6th gen secondary o2 sensor and o2 simulator
Does anyone know the color codes of the wires on a 98 Accord secondary o2 sensor? I beleive (but not 100% positive) the colors are white, green, black, and blue.
Also, can anyone give me some feedback on using an 02 simulator on my 6th gen. I have an ebay "high flow cat" (yes, I know it's a resonator and it was a bad idea
) that does not have a bung for the o2 sensor. How do o2 simulators work and is throwing one on my car a good idea? Can I expect an improvement in gas mileage and is there a possibility that this will eliminate the CEL?
TIA for any help!!!

I already have an o2 simulator and would rather save myself a few hundred bucks by using it instead of buying a new cat.

Been there, done that. Sim did nothing for my CEL. Cleared the codes, installed the sim, couple hundred miles later, another CEL, same 2nd O2 sensor code.

few hundred bucks? 20 seconds on google gives me 4 different places with replacement OE convertors for under $100. If you absolutely want to open up your exhaust and lose all your torque, do it right and buy a Carsound or Random Tech converter.

I inquired for a price of one of the recommended high flow cats and found it to be $300
. That's more than I'd like to spend.
Is the average $100 catalytic converter going to last?
