i just droped in my ls/vtec motor, it has a b16 head, gsr ob1 distributor, gsr obd1 ecu, everything on the block is still an ls except the oil pump, water pump, and timming belt. i have a gsr trans with an ls slave cylinder... i everything in but the car is not cranking over and my battery is good... i keep hearing a weird slight noise when i crank but not always... pls help i need this car to get to school.

 

If you had the engine built or freshened, maybe you should start with them...I'm sorry, I don't know what else to tell you.

 

I know people say this all the time but check and double check your grounds. I had the same thing happen to me. I just finished the swap and I went to start the car. I got nothing. All I heard was a clicking noise. It turned out to be one of the grounds. Fixed it and it started right up.
