Default HELP!: I think my cv boots are torn. How do i replace?

I know im jumping to conclusion, but i relly do think that my cv boots are torn.

REASON: when i turn left or right, i can hear weird squealing nosies. also, went to an autocross about 1 week ago, and had one moajr spin out.

Im going to check out the cv boots tomrrow morning, but if it is broken, how do i go about fixing?

what parts do i need?
what do i need to do?
how much $$$ for parts?

Thx guys

I dont exactly know what alphadrewdc2 said to you but basically if you need to replace the boot there are two routes you can go. A solid boot which requires removal of the halfshafts or a split boot which does not but I have heard things about them leaking. After you decide which you want to do then I could tell you more from there.

Dont waste your time or $ on a split boot.

Why not just get a new boot from the dealer, pull the axle repack it and put a new boot on? its way cheaper than buying a new axle, as long as it isnt clicking yet. And dont bother with autozone axles or any auto store axles, just get some raxles or drivashaft.com ones.

nm, turns out its not the cv boot.
i have no clue what it is. i lifted the car to day. let the front 2 wheels hang and turned side to side. i had a friend turn the wheel as i looked up and saw no leaks, but hear sounds like vaccum leaks and squeals when turning.

what could it be??
