Default 93 mini me

i helped my friend do a mini me and we got to start up and everything. the only thing wrong with it is that it ideals between 1000rpm and 2500rpm, but not right in the middle of those two, it ideals as if it was reving. im not sure if any of this makes sense but thanks for any help.

sounds like a vacuum leak. are all hoses connected and the intake manifold bolted tightly to the head. or did you forget the gasket there or between IM and throttle body?

we didnt disconnect anything from the intake manifold, we just unbolted it and that was it.

bad intake manifold gasket? all IM bolts/nuts torqued to specs?

check iacv.

check coolant levels.

Check all vacuums lines again even if all you did was unbolt the intake manifold.
