California smog

Default California smog

Well its that time of the year again...i must do a smog on my poor car....the only problem is my swap

i got a 98 ls, that has been converted to obd-0 and has all obd stuff on it (intake mani and distributor) . the map sensor is still the one off the original car (dx). im using a 88-89 pg7 ecu(i believe).

i must go to a test only station...any tips?

or should i try my luck with the ref

just go to different places and play it off like its the stock engine. one of em will try it. if it doesnt pass the sniffer thats a different story. good luck

Man goodluck with that. Most smog techs are already hip to what's going on with Honda's especially. Unless u find someone completely clueless...
