It was a very good turn out and the organizers from cougar.net did a good job on keeping things organized and clean, so no hate from me like oulaw lol. Anyway I remember the black itr there I was gonna say hi to you but didn't have a chance... I think you where in the beginners bracket right? how was your first time ey?....

peace

not a bad day at all. certainly everyone looked like they got more track time than they can handle... (or the car can take).

considering the amount of new people out, the event went about as smooth as it could have been.

Hey guys I was there, I was in the red GSR just watching though, however I'm game for the next one. I really wish I brought my helmet for some ride along's. . I talked to outlaw for a bit, nice guy. Hybrid civic was pretty cool. Frank I didnt even see you there, were you the one drifting the BMW? Also saw some autoX buddy's, old schooler VW.

yah, delsol is sick so i flew down and took my sister's little 323i. i think i had the tire pressure wrong, it was understeering quite a bit in the later sessions. but i got some pretty good practice out of it.

What are the chances of this happening again, I was really bummed I didn't do it. Not very crowded, everyone was mostly chill'in. I have done the speed trials with fricken vipers and crap all over my *** on the straits (only to catch back up with them on the corners) They buy a 70k car and think that they are race car driver's, it really started getting annoying. I like the atmosphere at willow, nice and layed back. Hit me up if this is going to happen again, I'm game. btw willow and bw are both about an hour away from me so I'm up for either.

That was some cool drifting you've done in the 323i is it MT or AT?

that was Nikolas's first event. feedback was good enough where he'll probably put out another one. it was good seeing everyone was being pretty nice to each other on the track.

there's another one coming up, wurthmotorsports.com 3/22 or something, i forget, check their site. it's a bit better organized. also at streets.

it's a manual... being underpowered and no LSD (smokes the inside rear, instead of real power slides it's just power smokes... heheh) makes it difficult to do long drifts. but i got to put some theory to practice and it was a good learning experience.

it felt the best when i pulled off couple of faint drifts.
