Default Newb questions....

I was reading throught the HC rules and I had some questions, I "think" I know the answers but I just want to make sure.

Door panel --> does this mean the interior panel on the inside of the door, or the sheet metal "skin" on the inside.

Brake shoe --> the pad?

I will try to ask as little of these as possible, I'd just rather be safe than sorry.

Brake shoes are pads, but for a drum setup.

Brake pad = brake pad
brake shoe = friction material for drum brakes.

interior panel on the inside of the door

As El Pollo Diablo said,
Brake pad = brake pad
brake shoe = friction material for drum brakes.

The interior panel may be removed and the door may be "gutted" for installation of "nascar bars" if the door is not gutted and the door glass remains then a protective panel must be installed. the factory interior panel is ok, but a protective panel to replace the factory interior panel may be made of a rage of approved materials (ie, sheet aluminum, thick plastic sheeting, seran wrap is not going to cut it)

One of the things that I need to do too.

Yeah I was confused about the door part, becucause I didn't know if it was the plastic peice over the door, or the metal part.
