Is there any way to check your fuel filter to see if its dirty or not or do you just have to purchase a new one?

 

If in doubt then replace it, they aren't that expensive.

i dont think aem makes fuel filters. Maybe you're thinking air filter

AEM does make fuel filters

The filter elements are rewasheable and reusable or maybe just replaceable.
