I need to know how to remove my driver's side axle.

I have plenty of info that shows how to remove axles but I have not seen any information that shows be how to remove the driver side.

I need to know how to remove my driver's side axle, where to pry etc etc. If anyone knows of another FAQ thread or have some pics that would help.

This is a '00 Honda civic SI.

I think that he is talking about getting the axle loose from the half-shaft. If this is the case, good luck. It can be a real PITA, but there is not really any "easy" way to get the axle from the half-shaft besides prying and being careful about it. Other than that and removing the bolts that hold the half-shaft, it is the same process as taking out the passenger side.

Use the special tool thats listed in the manual...if you dont have that its a Prong thingy...thick metal...and has a two end fork kinda like a crowbar but the teeth are longer..Forgot what its call..leave the half shaft still bolted and pop of gentlely...im pretty sure thats how it goes..
