Is this a good deal?
I have been looking for an Accord V6 but I heard they can have problems with the V6 engine. Is this true and is this Accord a good deal. Click the link below to check it out. I look forward to your response.

the weakness of the 6th gen and newer cars is the auto trans.
On the 6th gen cars the problem is in the differental and the 7th gen cars have secondary shaft lubrication issues.

Looks like a decent car, but you need a lot more than that to make an informed decision. What is the ownership history? Repair history? Accident history? Maintenance history?
Is the owner a teenage ricer, or a middle-aged housewife?
Has the paint been cared for (no dings, scratches, frequent waxings)?
If the answers to the above are positive, a good deal would be something under $11k.
And your only real concern should be the transmission, but that will be covered until 100k miles anyway.

Jim:
Do a Carfax inquiry from the Vin number to determine any past issues and (as stated elseware) try to get it's maintaince history.
One thing that you can infer from buying a car from a granny goer with some milage is:
If there was a tranny problem, it would have shown up now.
You can always hedge your bet by purchasing an aftermarket warranty.
By the way, my next rides' gonna be a '98 and later V6 coupe.....
