Default obd1 d16z6 swap quick injector question

when doing an obd1 sohc vtec swap do you leave the resistor box intact and run the obd0 injectors in the motor or remove the box and run the obd1 injectors?

Yeah it's a good idea to go with the resistor box and stock injectors. The flow the same as the 92-95 injectors and if you ever want to upgrade the injector size to DSM bluetops the resistor box is there ready to go.

just use the obd 0 inhjectors and the resistor box there is no performance ganined whatsoever from usin the obd1 saturated injectors and it is a lot of BS wiring

ok good cause someone told me that obd0 injectors will not work with obd1 ecu even with a resistor box and it didn't make sense to me

and I see all these writeups on how to wire it to obd1 but why would you do that when you can just reuse obd0 ones... thanks guys

yeah I am runnin an obd1 p28 ecu on my obd 0 injectors.....the only difference is the obd 0 injectors are peak and hold and need resistance while the obd 1 saturated ones don't. Stay obd 0 on the injectors for sure so if you ever want to use dsm 450's for a turbo or whatnot you don't have to add in any resistors or anything because they are peak and hold and require a resistor box or resistors soldered into each wire instead of a resistor box
