help me decide: keep the b16 or swap it out for a d16
I have a 91 crx with a b16 everthing else is stock. i did the engine swap before i ever knew what autoX was or that i would ever do it. my problem is that because of my swap im am in sm2 and it sucks getting killed by vettes by 10 seconds. i know im new to autox and all but it is almost embarising getting my *** kicked so bad. so im thinking about pulling out the b16, selling it and with the money buying a stock d16a6 and suspension and bushings. what do you think?
The question you should ask yourself is what class do you want to end up in. Once you decide where you want the car to be the answer is relatively easy.
you suck as a driver if you are getting killed by vettes by 10 seconds....
work on your driving then come talk to us....
ohkay YOU DON'T SUCK....you just don't have the driving experience nesseccary to keep up with the vettes....
heck my buddy and i road race....WE HAVE THE IDENTICAL ENGINE AND SUSPENSION.....he has a dc2 chasis i have the em1.....i ALMOST LAPPED HIM IN A 12 lap race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
learn to drive your car...dont' swap engines....you will actually get killed more if you go back to all stock class!!!

yeah, listen to CHAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and keep driving that thing for a while. find out how much you can close the gap by improving the driver, and go from there.
or do whatever sounds like the most fun and say **** all of us (wait, the first guy said that...**** all you guys...im goin home)

Don't worry about getting beaten by vettes.
Keep going, don't change anything for a whole season and see where you stand.
Again, forget about Corvettes, and as someone said, if you go to stock, you will likely be more unhappy by what you get beat by.
