a/c in a 91 hatchback with b16
just put a/c back in my 91 hatchback after 4 years without it. i replaced the lines , condenser, compressor, and reciever/dryer bottle with used parts from the junkyard. the parts hadn't been left open to the atmosphere for to long, but the lines going into my firewall had been open for 4 years. I also had to rewire everything: the compressor and the pressure switch and had some confussion on the ecu pinouts for those two things I also put a new aftermarket power switch in. with my b16 with my dc header and the a/c lines i have no room for the condenser fan. i have not charged the system with freon yet. any help on additional parts, wiring, or info before i do would be greatly appreciated. i just want cold air before i drive from sd through az, nm, tx, ok,and ks next month.
You might have to get a slim fan.
When I swapped my b16 I had planned on keeping the a/c and stock rad fans and after a bit of research I decided to just go with a stock header. I still had to remove the heat shield however.
