auto to manual swap question....**
alright i have red every thread on auto to manual conversions for my 93 civic. the only question i have not found a true answer to is this.....do i need just the brake pedal? or the whole brake pedal assembly? and do i need the sensors that are on the clutch and the brake? theres sensors on the 5 speed ones and im not sure what there for and if i need them./..and how to wire them in if i need em. thanks.
Either get the entire pedal assembly off a 5-speed or just the clutch pedal. You wont have a 5 speed clutch sensor so nothing will plug into that, so you'll be able to start the car without putting the clutch in.
Here is by far the best write up.

yea i red that right up...i actually want to have to push in the clutch to start the car...i want it to be like it came out of the factory. so can i just get the brake pedal without the whole assembly? whats the sensor on the brake???
Why do you keep saying brake pedal? if your doing a 5 spd swap, you should be interested in the clutch pedal and clutch switches.. you can run wires to those switches to make it required to push the clutch in.. I will have to search to find the info for you..
Why ask if you need the sensor if you know you want to push the clutch in? Their function seems pretty straight forward when you look at the pedals...
Ohh well..
