Default Question about swapping out shift cables in an H22A EG--->HELP!

I'm going to be swapping out my old shift cables for some newer ones. The swap has already been done, so I'll be replacing my 1994 Prelude cables with another set of 1994 Prelude cables that are in better condition. I'd like to do it all in my driveway if possible, so any advice would be helpful. Anybody have a DIY? Thanks!

It really shouldn't be that hard. Just unbolt them and remove. Hardest part may be routing them through all that mess of hoses and wires.

yea i agree, make sure you do the zip tie mod also, it helped alot back when i had my h22. i would think it would be ok to do it in the driveway.

if its run between the subfram and the fire wall you may need to drop the subfram a little. i like running it between the subfram and firewall cuz it gives it a little more protection from the exhuast heat.

Thanks everybody! Does anyone have a link to the zip-tie mod?

just zip tie the cables together every few inches. It gives you a better 'feel', something cable shift trannies lack. I would also recommend running the cables over the subframe, it'll give more slack in the cables, and make them less prone to wearing out (I've killed 3 sets of shift cables in a year).
