Default New rims = New nuts, advice/experiances needed

Howdy guys

Just ordered a set of rims and i think it would be a fine time to order a new set of lug nuts as well.

I dont neccessarily need light weight ones, i just needs ones that are locking and come with a key that doesnt strip or break. Any advice is appreciated here you guys, thanks.

Gorilla lug nuts w/ locking key are great & reasonably price. There's a seller on ebay selling these. They come in a couple different styles depending on your tastes.

Locks, stainless steel (not as fragile as muteki's & no rusting). Runs around 30-40 dollars.

A little more expensive would be the mcgard splinedrives, better design, comes w/ lock, etc. Runs around 70-80.

New rims usually come with new lug nuts, don't they?

Make sure that you get lug nuts that have the same shaped seating area as your wheels. Most Honda/Acura wheels have a ball (acorn, spherical) shaped seating area. Most aftermarket wheels have a tapered (conical) shaped seating area.

I use the Muteki lugnuts because they were cheap and had the least amount of complaints about them (compared to other low-cost lugnuts). They have the spline design which I prefer because they are less prone to stripping. Plus they came in multiple stunna-rific colors.

If I could do it all over again, I'd get the McGards or the Gorillas.
